No, you can make an appointment to see me without speaking to your GP. With lengthy waiting times for NHS physiotherapy appointments, this is often the quickest way to relieve your pain.
An initial 60 minute consultation costs £75. During this appointment I will work with you to identify the root cause of your pain or injury. I will explain the cause of your pain and agree a treatment plan, making sure you are comfortable performing the exercise that I prescribe for you to do at home.
45 Minute follow up appointments are £65. How many appointments you will need depends upon your specific problem.
First of all, rest assured that I will never expect you to do anything that causes or makes your pain worse. The sooner we start to work on relieving the root cause, the sooner we can get your pain under control.
As a physiotherapist I treat what are known as musculoskeletal conditions. Musculoskeletal means anything affecting your bones, joints, or muscles (and sometimes the nerves). Common examples include:
- Back pain
- Joint pain
- Limited range of motion
Loose fitting, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement.
It’s never too late to try to eliminate your pain. Often we solider on and muscle imbalances become greater, making our pain worse. Age is not a barrier to improving your quality of life.
